“He told her she should move to San Diego and marry a nice Lieutenant. And that’s what she did” This prompting from a loving relative was the spark needed for Jenna and Mike to find each other, and join together in marriage. Jenna’s grandpa Harold, who also served in the Navy like Jenna and Mike, gave the best advice he could for his granddaughter who had searched or her prince in her home of Colorado to no avail. She heeded his words, and moved to sunny California and eventually met and fell in love with Mike, a Naval helicopter pilot. Unfortunately, Grandpa Harold would not be able to share in the wedding day celebrations, but his memory was honored with Jenna wearing his uniform patch on the inside of her dress. The wedding celebration was fit for royalty. Luscious florals draped the Ponte Winery ceremony awning and reception ballroom with soft pinks and whites. And the bride and groom rivaled any fairy tale romance with not only their looks, but also with their specially choreographed first dance. The wedding was one to remember, but it is only the start of their new journey together as husband and wife. Congratulations Jenna and Mike! May you have a long and happy life of fun and romance together!
